Cellist, singer, composer and arranger Melanie Robinson is best known for her work as one half of the award-winning original duo Mr Sister, one quarter of APRA/AMC award-winning quartet Overlander (with William Barton, Iain Grandage and Claire Edwardes), and as arranger, cellist, singer and occasionally co-writer for various Australian artists including Tim Rogers, You Am I, Washington, The Audreys and John Butler Trio. Recipient of the Pauline Steele Prize for Solo Cello Performance and ArtsWA’s Young Artist Fellowship, Melanie is currently working on Sally Richardson’s stage adaption of Sonya Hartnett’s novel “The Ghost’s Child”.
