Xani Kolac – Violin
Tom Gannon – Drums, Percussion

The Twoks are Xani Kolac and Tom Gannon; part unpredictable, part electronica, and part unprecedented. Xani intricately layers and loops her violin as if she is playing with a quartet of strings fused with heart-starting beats traversing gypsy, hip hop, electronica and modal jazz. It is unique and special and accessible to all. Winner Best Music Performance Adelaide Fringe Festival 2008.

WOW! We just heard The Twoks play on Sunday Arts and have googled to find out where to hear them live. Absolutely awesome to hear such inspiring sounds coming from a violin. My daughter Tess (6yo) and myself (mum) have just started violin lessons and together we sound nothing like that….but hope to aspire. Thankyou for awakening the desires of our imagination.

p.s Where and when are the Twoks playing live in Melbourne next month… if you can contact them and let them, know kids would love to hear them play live too.

Please put me on an email list so I know where I can hear the twoks. I would love to download some music too.
