Byar
Adrian Sherriff, Jeremy Dullard, Jo To, Adam King.

Byar (pron. 'bee-are') is a quartet of musicians who share a fascination with the music and sounds of Bali. 'Byar' is a word used in Bali to describe the sound of an entire gamelan striking a powerful chord together. The instrumentation of this group encompasses a variety of traditional gamelans including beleganjur (the marching gamelan), kecak (the monkey dance) and gender wayang (shadow puppet instruments).
